Hi Everybody!

We are so excited to be starting a blog to share the goings-on of our family! This is an especially exciting time in our lives and with so many family and friends who live out of town or who don't share in the delights and dramas of Facebook, this is a great way to keep in touch. Even with cell phones, e-mail, texting, social media, and my favorite, the smoke signal, time still rushes by just the same and it is still so easy to fall out of touch or even just realize months have passed before you have seen or talked to one another. I (Ashley, your personal narrator for this tour) have always been an avid writer with dreams of publishing children's books (with one in the works... maybe more on that later), but with the rush of life, I don't always get to write like I want to; so this is a great way for me to merge my two passions: writing and my family. I'll hopefully be adding pictures, antedoctes, recipes, and just any ol' fun, funny, exciting, happy, sad, mad moment that may come along. Isn't that what life is about? Thanks for joining us!
